1982 Lynch-Bages

Medium dark, brownish tint around rim. Nose of chassis and earth scents. Fruit has chassis, cherry, and earthy flavors, with hints of licorice, moderate acid, soft tannin, good structure, and long fruity finish. This is the kind of elegant aged Bordeaux I like. It seems fully mature and has probably started a slow decline. It still has good structure, but very soft tannins. My rating 90. Drink up.
